Glucosamine Sulfate is an amino monosaccharide which exists in the body, especially in articular cartilage.
It selectively ACTS on osteoarthritis, blocks the pathological process of osteoarthritis, stimulates chondrocytes to
produce glycoproteins with normal polysaccharide polymer structure, and also inhibits the activity of enzymes
that damage cartilage, such as collagenase and phospholipase A2.The efficacy and function of glucosamine are mainly applicable to all kinds of osteoarthritis, such as degenerative diseases of the spine and degenerative inflammation of the spinal disc, knee arthritis, wrist arthritis and finger arthritis. Osteoarthritis is the result of retrogression due to abnormal biosynthesis of protein in articular cartilage. Glucosamine is a natural amino monosaccharide and a precursor of proteoglycan synthesis. Therefore, it can stimulate the proliferation of chondrocytes and produce proteoglycans with normal polymeric structure.
